DESCRIPTION:Get swanky with us every Thursday night 7-9 PM for live jazz and your favorite craft cocktails. Featuring Moonbright Jazz Duo \n  \nBrian Litz\n\n\n\nBrian is a seasoned\, professional guitarist who grew up in the family music\nbusiness\, Victor Litz Music Center in Gaithersburg MD. He received early\ninstruction from his father\, an accomplished player\, as well as from other\nmusicians associated with the store. He studied classical guitar at Montgomery\nCollege with Robert Winter and gained experience traveling the country for a\nfew years playing in various dance bands. Eventually\, Brian came back to the\nDC area to concentrate on a more regional teaching and playing career. A\nhighlight during this time was an opportunity to study with the legendary jazz\nguitarist Herb Ellis. While his heart is obviously in jazz\, his influences are from\nSegovia to Jimi Hendrix to Joe Pass.\n\n\n\n\n\nRalph Gordon\n\nRalph has had a varied career spanning fifty plus years. His distinctive bass has\nbeen recorded on nearly two hundred albums\, ranging from Appalachian String\nBand music to Big Band Jazz. In bands such as Trapezoid\, Freyda and the\nGrammy nominated Acoustic Attitude\, Ralph has been in demand both in the\nstudio and onstage. When he is not providing the foundation for Moonbright\nJazz\, Ralph Gordon can be found touring nationally with Chris Collins and\nBoulder Canyon\, a top John Denver Tribute band.
