Written by Monica Pearce, Owner, Tenth Ward Distilling

Blackberry Lemon Crush

Yep, you’ve heard right. Tenth Ward is releasing not one but TWO new canned cocktails! Let’s start off by introducing our Blackberry Lemon Crush made with Rum, blackberry, lemon and a bit of basil to finish it off with a Tenth Ward twist. This RTD (ready-to-drink) is coming to you with an ABV of only 5% because who doesn’t want something crushable this season?! Fruity, refreshing, tangy and easy to sip on, this one will have you ready to buy a case. Releasing Saturday, February 25, 2022, the Blackberry Lemon Crush will be available year-round at our Cocktail Lab, for shipping in MD and DC or at a number of our retail store and bar locations

Tenth Ward’s Exclusive Releases

We thought we’d throw a little teaser in today. Releasing Friday, March 4, 2022, is our Queen Bees Knees! This one-time-only release is exclusive to Canned Cocktail Club Members ONLY. Consider joining the club for monthly limited releases that are never available to the public. EVER. Love our canned cocktails that much? Look into the VIP or Aficionado clubs that include more than one 4-pack per month.

Queen Bees Knees

Gin, lemon, honey, lavender, ginger. What a perfect combo right?? Easy to sip on, floral, citrusy, with a nice kick of ginger spice on the finish. Now you’re thinking even more about the joining the club huh? This RTD was inspired of course by the traditional Bees Knees that was thought to have emerged during the prohibition era developed by a bartender in Paris named Frank Meier. Now if you had been drinking it here in a speakeasy it might have had some extra spoonfuls of honey in it to cover up that oh-so desirable bathtub gin taste. Well, we promise plenty of balance in our recipe and, especially, that we didn’t make this gin in a bathtub ;).

How do I get my hands on it???

You can sign up today for free. Or, looking for something fun to do in Frederick? Stop by our Cocktail Lab to sign up and pick up a 4-pack. You’ll be supporting a woman-owned distillery while you’re at it!
